Community

Over two decades, I’ve worked in a number of different community contexts for companies of varying sizes. Here are some examples

Working with Victory Square has meant I have had the chance to work with communities as diverse as fantasy sports fans, gamblers and investors. I’ve been able to tell the stories of our portfolio companies and spread the word on the catalysts that we are finding to help push the fourth industrial revolution forward.

There’s nothing quite like working alongside a virtual world community with over 12 million registered users. Leading a volunteer team of over 100 people from around the world, we made sure company messaging got out and that the trust and safety side of the company was properly in effect.

Sanctuary was an early pioneer in the web to TV market as well as the subscription content market. I was the Sanctuary Insider, the connection between the show and a rabid fan base that were huge supporters of the project and lead actress, Amanda Tapping.

Running the RootsMusicCanada.com site for CBC Radio 3 meant that I was able to work with an array of independent roots, folk and country musicians. The task was simple, to help them to use a CBC website to promote their music, for free.
